Matyukira awaiting trial at the court
A family man has been fined three beasts for infidelity with a neighbour's wife.
A married Maxwell Matyukira (52)has been dragged before Chief Chinamhora's traditional court yesterday for allegedly having an affair with Nomatter Nhongo (24) who is legally married to Efficient Masiyambiri (25) of Zvakatanga Sekuseka Housing Cooperative.
Matyukira is said to have bought a KGtel cellphone as a love token to Nhongo. All this has been happening whilst Masiyambiri was away from his home working in Kwekwe.
When Masiyambiri came back home he enquired about the cellphone and h was told that Matyukira was the one who bought it for her making her husband to become suspicious of Matyukira's kind act towards his wife. He then did investigations leading Matyukira to admit the shenanigans with Nhongo.
Matyukira further admitted that, they had sexual intercourse once in a bush but contrary to Nhongo' s testimony that they had sex countless times in the bush.
"Ini mukadzi uyu ndakadanana naye ndisingazive kut anemurume, ndakangorara naye kamwechete musango" said Matyukira.
The chief ruled that, Matyukira must pay three beasts not later than 15 October 2022.
The court valued each cow at US$ 400.
