High Court grants grandmother killer bail

Guruve-based Talent Murirahanda (29) who is being accused of killing his grandmother by giving her a poisonous African spider flower (Nyevhe) has been granted bail by High Court.
Murirahanda was granted $100 000 bail by Justice Deme yesterday after being represented by Liberty Chirenje.
The state alleged on July 17 the accused gave his grandmother the now deceased Mary Chirasikwa poisonous African spider flower leaves (Nyevhe) and she prepaired it and ate with her husband Luke Magarwe.
Chirasikwa died after eating while Magarwe survived after a serious battle.
The suspect was subsequently arrested.
