Zimbabwe police dispels curfew rumors

The Zimbabwe Republic Police have denied that a curfew has been imposed ahead of the announcement of election results.
In a statement, Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi, on Thursday also dispelled reports of roads being blocked by the security agents in Harare.
"The Zimbabwe Republic Police dispels a curfew or any form of disturbances in the country as peddled by some individuals and groups on social media. The police dismisses false reports claiming that certain roads in Harare are blocked by law enforcement agents", said Ass Comm Nyathi.
He further urged the public to continue observing the peace and calmness currently prevailing in the country.
Meanwhile, anxiety continues to grip the country as vote collation continues.
