AFM Pastor granted bail

After spending days in prison Plumtree-based Apostolic Faith Mission (AFM) pastor who allegedly assaulted his wife over a phone dispute has been granted bail.
Majalifa Marumo (57) was granted $100000 bail by Magistrate Joshua Nembaware yesterday.
The state led by Voster Makuwerere alleged on October 9 the pastor's wife arrived home around 9pm and found no one at her home.
She called her husband and he did not pick up the calls.
The pastor arrived 30 minutes later and was served sadza but he refused to eat and the wife went to the bedroom.
The charged pastor followed and assaulted her using open hands.
The complainant vomited blood after the attack and he dragged her to the study room.
