Employee steals groceries

A 20-year-old boy from Chinego Village under Chief Pashu in Binga will appear before Hwange magistrate court on Thursday for allegedly stealing various groceries and cash from a Shop.
Zibusiso Ngwenya (20), is accused of stealing from a shop belonging to Mr Mungwaru, a Chinego Primary School Teacher and a Business man.
According to state papers, on November 20, Ngwenya was seen by unidentified witnesses drinking beer together with his friends at Chinego Business Centre.
During a joyful beer drinking, Ngwenya then sparked a more heated misunderstanding with other rival boys in the area who then alerted the Police that the boy had stolen groceries and cash from the Shop where he was employed.
Upon interview by Bulawayo24.com, Ngwenya alleged that he committed the offence with the intention of going back to Entumbane in Bulawayo where his grandmother is residing.
Some of the stolen properties include USD $107 cash, milk, matches, Clere body cream and Lux soaps.
Ngwenya is admitting guilty to the charge of theft. Total value stolen is USD$200.
