5 die in Mabvuku accident

Five people died on the spot when two commuter omnibuses and a lorry were involved in a crash on Tuesday night.
According to the police, the accident occurred when one of the commuter omnibuses collided head-on with the lorry, followed by another kombi ramming into the back of the first.
National Police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the incident.
"The ZRP reports a fatal road traffic accident which occurred yesterday (Tuesday) at around 5 pm along Donnybrook Road in the Chizhanje area of Mabvuku. A lorry collided head-on with a commuter omnibus, and another kombi subsequently rammed into the back of the first. Five people died on the spot. Police attended the scene, and more details will be released in due course," he said.
