The uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party says it is ready to provide evidence of "vote rigging" that took place in the recent elections.
So far, the party claimed there were wide-ranging irregularities with the 2024 general elections, without providing any proof.
On Monday, the party released a statement saying it planned on bringing an application to the Constitutional Court to interdict the first sitting of Parliament.
MK Party spokesperson, Nhlamulo Ndhela, said their court papers have evidence detailing why the sitting should be postponed.
"Our lawyers have been hard at work since last week gathering evidence, not only on our end, but also on other political parties, and those papers will also come in the form of the evidence, and they will be presented to the Constitutional Court. We are filing directly to the Constitutional Court to raise these concerns."
