A 20-year-old man from Chief Nyajena's area in Masvingo has been sentenced to five years in prison for attempting to rape a 37-year-old woman who was walking to Nyamande Business Centre.
According to court records, the incident occurred on November 3, 2024, around midday. The accused allegedly approached the woman, stripped naked, and jumped into her path, demanding sexual relations. He then grabbed her by the hands and forced her to the ground. However, the woman fought back, managing to overpower him and pull on his manhood, causing him intense pain.
