Land barons fund ED2030 sloganeering campaign
3 hrs ago | Views
Most of the land barons dominating Harare, Masvingo and Midlands provinces have spent their loot towards funding an exercise to push for President Emmerson Mnangagwa's foiled unconstitutional term extension, details have emerged.
Speaking in his South African hide-out where he is seeking refugee from further political persecution, Wellington Masiyiwa (also known as Nyokayemabhunu) has claimed that there were meetings amongst some party provincial leadership from Harare, Masvingo and Midlands provinces to mobilise for resources to advance ED2030 agenda using funds collected from home-seekers and that is why all who funded the campaign are not arrested, while those who did not fund were arrested.
"All land barons who funded the campaign are not arrested and the system is secretly carrying out an audit to arrest those whose loot were not channeled towards the campaign because they felt that it was betrayal on the success of their political project for Mnangagwa's long stay in power," Masiyiwa said.
"You will observe that those complied in declaring their loot towards the campaign their areas are not going to be affected by demolitions because they funded it well, whilst those who behave otherwise, there is a list compiled to ensure that demolitions will be done so that they find reasons to arrest them," Masiyiwa added.
"In Harare South for example, it is quite complex because Ephraim Fundukwa, Trymore Kanopula, Godwills Masimirembwa, among other comrades have declared part of the loot and diverted some funds for personal use and that is when the discord arose," Masiyiwa claimed.
"That is the reason why you would see that demolitions take long to be implemented because it was the main looting venue with mixed victims from various camps," he added.
Meanwhile, ZANU-PF Harare provincial disciplinary chairman, Ephraim Fundukwa has denied that there are factional fights within the provincial party structure, but claimed that some G40 elements have created the discord and their days are numbered.
"There are no fights in the ruling party and i don't know anything about collecting money from people of Harare's southern suburbs including Stoneridge, Southley Park, or 401 as he claims. What you are saying that i collected money is just unfounded claims by Masiyiwa who is a political failure. It's the work of the enemy and him together with his G40 associates are the real enemies of the revolutionary party," Fundukwa said.
"We did not take even a dime from 401 and Southley Park and everything he said about us is not true," Fundukwa said.
"In actual fact, the party and our security systems are eagerly awaiting for his return from South Africa where he is facing various criminal charges. He will be arrested and as soon as he gets back from exile, he will be taken for questioning for his involvement in various criminal activities including the death of Comrade Masimirembwa's security guard, Harare bombings which were reported previously," Fundukwa added.
"We are eagerly waiting for his return because he is part of the gangsters terrorising and destroying the party. If you check, whatever he shares on his audios come to pass and it is therefore essential to note that if we push him to a private corner, he will disclose all his G40 associates and their planned course of action. They will give us their template which they are using to cause chaos and disorder. He is not a prophet, but shows that he is well informed of unfortunate circumstances before they happen and he foretold us about the bombings prior before the incidents," Fundukwa said.
