Man bashed to death by sex workers

A Guruve man, Moses Matimba, was allegedly assaulted to death by a gang of sex workers at a local bar in Concession.

So far, only one suspect, Mascline Mundizvi has been arrested.

Mashonaland Central police spokesperson Inspector Milton Mundembe confirmed the case.

"We are investigating a murder case that occurred at a local bar in Concession on Friday morning," Mundembe said.

"It is alleged the now deceased Matimba had a misunderstanding with a group of people at the bar and it turned violent until the bar was closed."

It is further alleged that Mundizvi was seen assaulting Matimbe with open hands.

Hours later, he was found dead near the bar.

Police warned people to shun violence and respect the sanctity of life.
