NKULUMANE - Independent candidate in the upcoming Nkulumane by-election, Mbuso Fuzwayo, who also serves as Ibhetshu Likazulu secretary-general, has donated water piping material to a local gardening project as part of his community empowerment efforts.
Fuzwayo is among several contestants in the by-election scheduled for 20 December, which also includes ZANU PF's Freedom Murechu, CCC's Mothusi Madlela Sikhobokhobo Ndlovu, fellow independents Rodney Jele and Estar Zitha, among others.
Handing over the donation of pipes and plumbing material to project members, Fuzwayo pledged to continue working with the community to improve livelihoods. He also offered to pay the plumber who will connect the piping to Jojo tanks, enabling members to water their vegetables more efficiently.

"Our aim in campaigning here is to change everyone's life. But we also need to know and talk to the person you have been working with so that when we have left you do not have problems," Fuzwayo said.
Fuzwayo has embarked on a door-to-door campaign trail, engaging directly with residents and urging them to support his candidacy in the by-election.
