HARARE - The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has announced the dismissal of Assistant Inspector Simbarashe Mandizvidza for improper conduct.
The announcement was made by National Police Spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi in a statement dated 10 December 2025.
"The Zimbabwe Republic Police informs the public that Simbarashe Mandizvidza (Ex-Assistant Inspector) is no longer a member of the Police Service," Nyathi said.
Mandizvidza was discharged on 3 December 2025 after being found guilty of misconduct during incidents that occurred on 13 and 14 August 2025. Nyathi emphasised that the dismissal followed duly constituted and appropriate administrative procedures.
