Shamva man arrested for murder after beer dispute

SHAMVA - Police have arrested a man in connection with a murder that occurred during a beer-drinking spree in Shamva.
The incident took place on 9 December 2025 at Pawandiwa Shabeen Mine, police confirmed via their official X account.
"The police confirm the arrest of Simon Wande (26) in connection with a murder case which occurred on 9 December at Pawandiwa Shabeen Mine, Shamva," the statement read.
According to police, Wande allegedly struck Tinei Pawandiwa (46) once on the head with a stone following a dispute over beer.
The victim sustained severe head injuries and was rushed to Shamva Hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon admission.
