Concession couple dies in Guruve road accident

A Concession couple, Mr and Mrs Mupesa, died in a road accident on Friday night after their vehicle failed to negotiate a curve near the Chikonyora area in Guruve.
Mrs Mupesa was a teacher at Kundayi High School in Concession.
According to initial reports, the pair was travelling in a Toyota Hilux when the driver allegedly lost control while attempting to navigate a curve. The vehicle veered off the road, resulting in serious injuries to both occupants.
They were rushed to Mvurwi Hospital, where they died upon admission.
Mashonaland Central police spokesperson Inspector Milton Mundembe said he could not immediately confirm the incident as he had not yet received the report.
