Air Zimbabwe opens applications for aircraft engineering apprenticeship intake

Air Zimbabwe has invited applications for its 2026 Aircraft Engineering Apprenticeship Intake, offering young Zimbabweans an opportunity to train for careers in the aviation sector through a four-year technical programme.
The national airline said the apprenticeship programme will provide hands-on training across 11 specialised aircraft engineering trades, covering critical disciplines such as avionics, airframes and related technical fields essential to aircraft maintenance and safety.
According to Air Zimbabwe, the programme is designed to equip trainees with practical skills and industry knowledge, preparing them for professional roles within the aviation industry upon completion.
Applications for the 2026 intake close on January 23, 2026. Interested candidates are required to submit their applications via email.
The airline has also encouraged female candidates to apply, as part of efforts to promote gender balance and greater participation of women in technical and engineering roles within aviation.
