The Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) will officially release the Ordinary Level (O-Level) results for the 2025 examination session tomorrow, Friday, at 12 noon.
The announcement was made on Thursday by the Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, Torerayi Moyo, who described the release as a "significant milestone" in the nation's academic calendar. He commended ZIMSEC for its professionalism, transparency, and commitment to maintaining the integrity of the national examinations system. "The timely release of results is a testament to the strides we continue to make in strengthening our education sector," Minister Moyo said.
The O-Level results come a week after the release of the Advanced Level results, which recorded a national pass rate of 83.1 percent, showing a marginal improvement from the previous year. The release of the A-Level results was also praised for improved administrative efficiency.
Tomorrow's announcement will determine the academic and vocational pathways for thousands of candidates across Zimbabwe. Schools are expected to collect results from their respective ZIMSEC regional offices, while candidates will also have access to their results online through the ZIMSEC portal using individual candidate numbers.
