The Zanu PF Youth League in Bulawayo province is set to host a Youth Leadership and Development Seminar on January 24, 2026, as part of efforts to strengthen leadership capacity among young party members and enhance youth participation in both party and national development initiatives.
The seminar will begin at 9am at a venue to be announced and is expected to draw a wide range of youth leaders from across the province. Participants will include provincial executive members, district chairpersons, political commissars and representatives from affiliated youth structures.
According to the Youth League, the programme forms part of Zanu PF's broader strategy to groom disciplined, capable and ideologically grounded young leaders who can effectively advance the party's objectives while contributing meaningfully to Zimbabwe's development agenda.
By combining practical leadership training with ideological orientation, the seminar is designed to prepare the next generation of party and community leaders for greater responsibility within the party and society at large.
"The seminar is expected to bring together Youth League provincial executive members, youth affairs representatives, district chairpersons, district political commissars and youth leaders from party affiliates," the league said in a statement.
"The focus of the seminar will be on empowering young leaders with the skills, discipline and ideological clarity necessary to advance party objectives and contribute meaningfully to national development."
Registration for the seminar opened today and will run until January 22, ahead of the one-day event.
