A dark cloud has fallen over Mahuwe after a man was fatally struck with a wooden log during a dispute over US$1.
The incident occurred on Wednesday at Karai Business Centre in Mahuwe, Mashonaland Central.
Police have arrested 29‑year‑old Keith Chituu, who is now facing a murder charge.
Mashonaland Central police spokesperson Inspector Milton Mundembe confirmed the case.
"I can confirm the murder case in Mahuwe where Muzhona was killed by Chituu over a dollar dispute," Mundembe said.
Police urged members of the public to shun violence and respect the sanctity of life.
