Airlink flight 4Z112, en route from Johannesburg to Bulawayo, was unable to land at its intended destination this morning and was diverted to Harare due to adverse weather conditions.

The airline, which operates smaller aircraft, is often affected by strong winds and heavy rain, making landings challenging during inclement weather.

Meteorologists reported that Cyclone Gezeni brought gusty winds and rain to Bulawayo, prompting the diversion to ensure passenger safety.

Airlink reassured passengers that safety remains its top priority and advised travellers to check for updates on flight schedules as the weather improves.
