Zimbabwean couple nears Nigeria after epic Africa cycling trek

Zimbabwean cyclists Thando Tshuma and her fiancé, Vusumuzi MC, are closing in on the final stretch of their extraordinary journey from Zimbabwe to Nigeria, a cross-continental adventure that began last year.

The couple is currently in Yaoundé, Cameroon, as they prepare for the last leg of their trip after travelling thousands of kilometres across Southern and Central Africa.

Their route has taken them through Zambia, Angola, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Republic of the Congo, navigating diverse terrains and cultures along the way.

Travelling under the theme "Cycling for Sustainable Ecosystems and the Beauty of Africa," Tshuma and Vusumuzi have been using their journey to promote environmental awareness while celebrating the continent's natural landscapes.

Through regular social media updates, photos and videos, the duo has drawn admiration from followers inspired by both their endurance and their message of sustainability.
