Chipinge man fondles woman's buttocks at the shops

A Chipinge man has been convicted of indecent assault after he fondled a woman’s buttocks at a local shopping centre.
Last Foroma was fined US$200 by Chipinge magistrate Nixon Mangoti following his conviction.
The court heard that on 8 February at around 7pm, Foroma was drinking beer at Glenview shops in Chipinge. The complainant walked past the verandah where he was seated, and Foroma stretched out his hand and fondled her buttocks.
When the complainant confronted him over his actions, Foroma struck her with an empty bottle.
A police report was filed, leading to his arrest.
