Katsande appointed Rangers FC head coach

Willard Katsande has been named head coach of Rangers Football Club, a club previously known as Chinhoyi Rangers. The club confirmed the appointment, with an official unveiling expected in the coming days.

This marks Katsande's first professional coaching role in Zimbabwe after earning his CAF coaching badge in mid-2025. He completed the course alongside former Warriors captain Tapuwa Kapini.

Although Katsande has not yet led a professional team, he has been active in football development through his Kitoko Soccer School academy. He has also previously served in a technical role at South African fourth-division side Crystal Lake FC.
