Bosso throw away lead as Dembare salvage a draw at home

Bulawayo giants Highlanders FC surrendered a commanding 2–0 lead to settle for a 2–2 draw against rivals Dynamos FC at Rufaro Stadium before a capacity crowd.

Highlanders dominated the first half, taking a comfortable two-goal advantage through strikes from Never Rauzhi and Mongameli Tshuma.

However, Dynamos FC mounted a spirited second-half comeback, with Tellmore Pio and Donald Mujuru finding the net to rescue a point for the Harare side.

The clash was part of Matchday 2 of the 2026 Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League season. After the draw, Dynamos now have four points from two matches, following their opening win against TelOne, while Highlanders move to two points after drawing their first fixture against Bulawayo Chiefs in a local derby.
