Shangani river bridge flooded

Heavy rains have caused the Shangani River Bridge along the Bulawayo–Harare highway to flood, disrupting traffic in the area. 

Drivers of smaller vehicles are hesitant to cross, fearing they may be swept away, while heavier vehicles, including buses, are cautiously navigating the flooded section. 

The situation has resulted in a traffic jam as motorists wait for safer conditions before attempting to cross.
