The Mthwakazi Republic Party (MRP) has announced a leadership reshuffle and new central committee appointments aimed at strengthening its organisational capacity.

Party president Mqondisi Moyo made the changes in line with the party's 2025 transitional constitution, which allows for strategic redeployments based on evolving needs.

According to MRP secretary-general Velile Moyo, Sibangilizwe Siziba has been appointed to head the culture and social revolution department, while Levison Ncube will lead agriculture and food security. Sithabile Ndlovu has also been co-opted into the central committee to enhance women's representation.

Following a consultative meeting held on 21 March 2026 in Bulawayo, the party further incorporated young members Lwazi Abrahams Khanye, Collen Moyo and Honest Moyo into the central committee.

The women's liberation front also appointed Nokuthula Ndlovu and Kholisani Tshuma, with all new members expected to contribute to national strategy while retaining their roles in youth and women's structures.

Velile said the adjustments are part of a broader effort to strengthen leadership, promote inclusivity, and improve organisational effectiveness at both grassroots and national level.
