Zimbabwe national cricket team will host Australia national cricket team for a three-match One Day International (ODI) series in September, with all fixtures scheduled at Harare Sports Club.
The matches will be played on 15, 18 and 20 September, all starting at 9:30am local time.
This will mark Australia's first ODI tour of Zimbabwe in more than a decade, with the last visit in this format coming during a triangular series in 2014 that also involved South Africa.
The series forms part of Zimbabwe's preparation for the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2027, which the country will co-host alongside South Africa and Namibia.
Zimbabwe Cricket managing director Givemore Makoni said the tour is an important opportunity for the national side to test itself against top-level opposition ahead of major global tournaments.
He added that fixtures of this calibre are crucial for development and will also give local fans a chance to watch elite international cricket at home.
The announcement follows confirmation of another major home series earlier in the year, with India also set to tour Zimbabwe for a T20I series in July.
