The Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) has suspended match official Kalota Patrick for six matches, with the ban taking immediate effect.
The suspension will run from matchday 7 to matchday 12 of the Premier Soccer League season.
According to ZIFA, the disciplinary action follows a report from a match commissioner regarding the fixture between Highlanders FC and FC Platinum played at Barbourfields Stadium on April 4, 2026.
The association said the referee made an incorrect decision during the match which was deemed to have had a direct impact on the outcome.
ZIFA indicated that the suspension is in line with Article 22 of its Referees Code of Conduct, which governs standards of professionalism and accountability among match officials.
The move forms part of the association's broader efforts to uphold integrity in officiating and strengthen confidence in Zimbabwean football.
