3 killed in Harare glass loading tragedy

Three people were killed on Wednesday after a pallet of glass panels fell on them while they were offloading a truck at a company along Coventry Road in Harare.
The fatal incident occurred around midday, leaving the victims dead on the spot after being struck by the heavy load.
National police spokesperson Paul Nyathi confirmed the tragedy and said investigations are currently underway to establish the full circumstances surrounding the accident.
"The ZRP reports a sad incident which occurred today at around 1200 hours at a company along Coventry Road, Harare. Three people died on the spot after being struck by a pallet of glass panels which they were offloading from a truck. More details will be released in due course," he said.
Authorities are expected to provide further updates as inquiries continue.
