Bindura drug peddler nabbed

A suspected drug peddler in Bindura, Lilian Mupandenyama, has been arrested after police allegedly found 180 sachets of dagga at her home.
Mupandenyama was arrested at her residence in Simona Farm, Bindura, during a police operation targeting drug suppliers in the area.
Mashonaland Central police spokesperson Inspector Milton Mundembe confirmed the arrest.
"We have arrested Mupandenyama after she was found in possession of 180 sachets of dagga at her house, and investigations are ongoing," Mundembe said.
Police urged the public to desist from drug and substance abuse, warning that drug dealers would face the full wrath of the law.
"We urge the public to desist from drug and substance abuse as its effect is detrimental to health, community and national development at large. We strongly warn all drug dealers to stay away from the drug and substance chain supply and be responsible citizens, lest the long arm of the law will catch up with them," Mundembe added.
