LuckyBets launches PSL player award

LuckyBets, in partnership with the Premier Soccer League (PSL), will officially launch the LuckyBets Player of the Match award today as part of a new initiative to reward outstanding performances in Zimbabwean football.
The award will run across all Castle Lager Premier Soccer League fixtures for the remainder of the 2026 season.
Under the initiative, every PSL match will produce a LuckyBets Player of the Match winner, with each recipient receiving a US$200 cash prize immediately after the final whistle.
LuckyBets said the winners will be selected through a transparent voting process conducted by accredited media representatives covering each fixture.

To support the rollout, LuckyBets will deploy official representatives to stadiums across the country to oversee presentations and ensure the award is handed over on the pitch straight after matches.
The betting company said the partnership with the PSL reflects a shared commitment to improving professionalism in the domestic game, while also motivating players to deliver high-quality performances.
The PSL and LuckyBets believe the initiative will also enhance the overall matchday experience for clubs, supporters and players throughout the season.
