Dynamos Football Club has strongly condemned the crowd violence and disturbances that disrupted their Castle Lager Premier Soccer League Matchday 14 fixture against HardRock FC at Chahwanda Stadium on Sunday, 24 May 2026.

In a statement, the violence prone team described the scenes as "completely unacceptable," reaffirming their zero-tolerance stance toward any conduct that endangers lives, disrupts matches, or brings the game into disrepute.

"Football is a family sport, and stadiums across the country must remain safe, secure, and welcoming environments for players, officials, supporters, and all stakeholders," the club said.

Dynamos confirmed that they are cooperating fully with relevant authorities, football governing bodies, and law enforcement agencies as investigations into the incident continue.

The club also expressed sympathy for those injured or affected during the disturbances and urged supporters and the wider football community to uphold peace, tolerance, and discipline at all times.

Significantly, Dynamos said they will not issue further public comment on the matter, noting that allowing investigations to proceed without interference is essential.

The violent scenes, which led to the abandonment of the match, have already drawn widespread condemnation and are expected to be reviewed by both the Premier Soccer League and ZIFA disciplinary structures.

The incident has once again raised concerns over crowd control and stadium safety in Zimbabwean football, with calls growing for stronger enforcement measures to prevent a repeat of such disorder.
