Patriotic Vendors4ED has congratulated media activist Cde Mfecane after he received a brand‑new Toyota Hilux in recognition of his contribution to the media sector and his support for national development programmes.

The vehicle was presented through Special Advisor to the President Dr Paul Tungwarara, with the gesture also attributed to President Emmerson Mnangagwa.

In a statement, the Patriotic Vendors4ED National Executive Team led by E. Sawu Jere described the development as a significant acknowledgement of the media's role in advancing the country's Vision 2030 agenda.

"The media continues to be the voice and backbone of national progress,” the organisation said as it congratulated Cde Mfecane and the wider 4ED media family.

Images and videos circulating online show Mfecane expressing gratitude to Dr Tungwarara and President Mnangagwa for what he described as a generous and humbling gesture recognising his work in the media fraternity.

Supporters within the organisation said the recognition would motivate media practitioners aligned to the 4ED movement to continue amplifying the national development message and supporting the revolution's programmes.

Patriotic Vendors4ED also reiterated its support for the government's Vision 2030 programme and praised the leadership for acknowledging media practitioners working within pro‑government structures.

The development attracted celebratory messages across social media platforms, with supporters describing the gesture as "history in the making”.

Patriotic Vendors4ED is a pro‑government pressure group that mobilises informal traders and vendors in support of President Mnangagwa and the ruling Zanu PF party.
