Man left without his manhood, living in hell

A 47-year-old man from Karoi is appealing for financial and medical assistance after losing his genital organ to cancer, a condition he says has left him in chronic pain and isolated from his family.

Remigio Tom said he initially believed his illness was the result of supernatural punishment, but later sought medical attention after his condition continued to deteriorate.

According to Tom, doctors informed him that he was suffering from cancer, which had led to the loss of his genital organ.

Before seeking conventional medical treatment, he said he had first tried traditional remedies in the hope of recovering.

"When I consulted medical doctors, they told me it is cancer and that is the reason I have lost my manhood," he said.

Tom said he has lived with the condition for the past four years and that the pain has progressively worsened.

He said the illness has also taken a heavy emotional toll on his personal life.

According to Tom, his wife left him as his condition deteriorated, and their children later followed her, leaving him without immediate family support.

He is now living with his younger brother, whom he says has been assisting him despite the difficult circumstances.

"My life has become miserable," Tom said.

He added that he initially attributed his illness to spiritual causes.

"If I slept with a married woman, which has caused all this, may the husband forgive me. I am experiencing hell day and night," he said.

Tom, a father of four, said he is unable to afford the medical treatment he requires and is appealing to well-wishers for assistance.

"I have no money for treatment," he said.

He said the severe pain and his financial situation have made everyday life increasingly difficult, prompting him to share his story in the hope of receiving help.
