Etihad deepens Zimbabwe push with Fastjet codeshare agreement

Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways has strengthened its presence in Zimbabwe ahead of the launch of its Harare–Abu Dhabi route in March 2027 by signing a codeshare agreement with Fastjet Zimbabwe.
The agreement, signed in Harare on Tuesday, will enable passengers travelling on Etihad Airways to connect seamlessly to Fastjet Zimbabwe's domestic and regional destinations on a single ticket.
Under the partnership, travellers arriving in Harare on Etihad flights will have access to Fastjet-operated services to Bulawayo, Victoria Falls and Johannesburg, simplifying onward travel within Zimbabwe and the region.
The codeshare agreement is expected to enhance connectivity between Zimbabwe and the Middle East while providing passengers with more convenient travel options and integrated ticketing.
The partnership also strengthens Etihad Airways' preparations for the launch of its Harare–Abu Dhabi service, which is scheduled to commence in March 2027.
