Woman gets 30‑month sentence for drug dealing

A 26‑year‑old Bindura woman has been sentenced to 30 months in prison for dealing in dangerous drugs.
Lilian Mupandenyama of John Farm, Bindura, was convicted and sentenced by Bindura magistrate Felix Chauromwe.
Prosecutor Sheila Kudzai Maribha told the court that police received information that Mupandenyama was allegedly selling drugs. Acting on the tip‑off, officers went to her home and conducted a search, during which they recovered several packets of dagga from her room.
Mupandenyama was subsequently arrested and appeared in court, where she was convicted.
