FORMER opposition leader Nelson Chamisa has signalled that he intends to play a leading role in Zimbabwe's emerging opposition political formation as opposition forces prepare for another round of realignment.
In an exchange with our reporter Moreblessing Marange, Chamisa said he would be among those steering the new political movement, potentially reshaping the opposition landscape after months of speculation that he had ceded the initiative to other political players.
The structure, leadership and political strategy of the new formation have yet to be fully outlined.
Chamisa made the remarks in Harare after signing a book of condolences for late European Union Ambassador Katrin Hagemann.
