A 29-year-old woman from Dzivarasekwa, Harare, has been arrested for allegedly biting her husband's testicles during an argument over suspected infidelity, leaving him hospitalised.
Sharline Rutendo Munenga appeared before a Harare magistrate on Friday facing a charge of physical abuse.
She was remanded in custody to September 14.
According to State papers, the incident occurred in Dzivarasekwa in September 2026 after Munenga confronted her husband, Munyaradzi Poundi, 33, whom she accused of having an extra-marital affair with another woman.
The couple reportedly had an argument after Poundi allegedly gave Munenga an answer she considered unsatisfactory.
The State alleges that Munenga became angry and bit Poundi's testicles during the altercation.
Poundi is reportedly battling for his life in hospital following the alleged attack.
