Enterprise Car Sales owner Madzibaba Tendai Chipaga has revealed that payments for approximately 15 vehicles supplied to the late businessman Wicknell Chivayo remain outstanding.

The disclosure comes after sungura musician Taruvinga Manjokota, popularly known as Sugar Sugar, claimed he had been asked to return a Toyota Fortuner gifted to him by Chivayo, raising questions about the status of vehicles distributed by the businessman before his death.

According to ZBC News, Chipaga has denied that Sugar Sugar was instructed to surrender the vehicle, saying the matter remains unresolved while the necessary estate processes are completed.

DJ Ollah reportedly contacted Chipaga to establish whether the musician had been asked to return the Fortuner.

In a statement shared by Ollah, Chipaga denied that any demand had been made and suggested that someone might have taken advantage of uncertainty surrounding Chivayo's estate to frighten the musician.

"We've just contacted Madzibaba Tendai Chipaga the owner of Enterprise Car Sale, he denied allegations that Sugar Sugar was asked to bring back the vehicle since they're waiting for the executor to finalize everything," the statement read.

It added that Chipaga suspected someone had used speculation surrounding the estate to spread false information and urged the musician not to worry for the time being.

Meanwhile, Enterprise Car Sales is among three Harare dealerships reportedly seeking to recover money allegedly owed by Chivayo.

A ZimLive report published on October 20, 2026, said Faramatsi Motors, Exquisite Cars and Enterprise Car Sales were claiming a combined US$5.1 million in outstanding payments.

According to the report, the alleged debts were broken down as follows: Faramatsi Motors was owed US$2.4 million, Exquisite Cars US$1.4 million and Enterprise Car Sales US$1.3 million. The combined amount is approximately R83.76 million.

The report described an arrangement under which Chivayo obtained vehicles from dealerships and settled payments later, typically within three months.

The reported outstanding amounts remain claims relating to Chivayo's estate, with the resolution of the debts subject to the relevant estate processes.
