JOHANNESBURG - Leonard Dube, MDC Chairperson of South African province led by Professor Welshman Ncube has encouraged youths to bestow their leader with a registering to vote birthday present.
Ncube turns 52-years-old next month will lead his party in the harmonized elections expected this year.
Last year Dube led his province and made headlines where they donated food stuff to needy Central Methodist community infested by Zimbabwean political and economical
refugees. The food stuffs included more than 300 breads, mealie-mealie, relishes and other daily basic commodities needed in daily life.
"There is nothing special than giving Ncube a present of registering to vote as he has began his journey to State House. Young people especial young voters must go out in numbers and give our leader his special present which will change our country forever. We wish him all the best and I insist we must make sure that his day is a bliss one as Zimbabweans," said Dube.
Dube also added that Zimbabweans must unite in order to curb scourges affecting them in daily lives despite of political or tribal affiliation. "We would appreciate if you move forward collectively as Zimbabweans in whatever you do. Since we took over this provincial leadership we want to try and help Zimbabweans to have better lives."
Meanwhile, Dube also called upon Zimbabweans in South Africa to come and participate in his party's activities.
"We are open and welcoming to every Zimbabwe. We need people to use us in whatever they want as we are here representing them as their leaders."
