1503: The Zanu-PF Provincial election results for the seven provinces will be announced by party chairman Simon Khaya Moyo at 4 p.m today. This brings an end to our live updates but the results will be published as soon as they are announced.
1235: In Mudzi and Mutoko Districts voting went well with collation of results finishing around 10pm on Saturday. According to posted results incumbent chairperson Ray Kaukonde led in Mudzi and Mutoko districts against Phillemon Mutongi.Mutoko district supervisor Esau Mupfumi hailed the exercise saying it was flawless. "Everything went well. It was smooth sailing. There were no incidents," he said. Mudzi supervisor Richard Chirongwe said:"We are happy that there were no incidents throughout the exercise. Everything went well.
1153: The election process is over in Chiredzi, Masvingo province and in the chairman's race Callisto Gwanetsa is leading the other contenstants Cdes Robert Mukwena and Alouis Baloyi. Angelina Masuku, who was presiding officer, has gone to Masvingo city to brief the team leader, Nicholas Goche.
1012: Central Committee member Lloyd Bhunu said results received in Harare Province so far indicate that Amos Midzi is leading for the chairmanship seat in Harare while for the Women's wing Angeline Matambanadzo is in the lead while in the Youth race Godfrey Gomwe.

2006: Voting has ended in Masvingo and results are expected to be announced tomorrow. Elections supervisor Nicholas Goche says voting went well with few instances of disturbances.
1950: Violence broke out at Mudavanhu primary school in Masvingo after two voting registers were produced. Riot police and the provincial election supervisor Nicholas Goche had to be called to restore order.
1941: Voting has officially ended here in UMP. Returning officer at the constituency command centre at Mutawatawa Zanu-Pf district HQ Boniface Karoro, who is Zanu-PF central member refused to comment on the elections, citing a gag order by Provincial team leader Obert Mpofu. Information gleaned by the Herald showed Ray Kaukonde in massive lead against his rival Philemon Mutongi.
1824: Counting is now in progress at most polling stations in Masvingo.
1816: Dr Chombo says Bulawayo Zanu-PF election results can be expected by midnight.
1815: Voting in Bulawayo is going on smoothly, with people trickling inat poll stations. Overseer,Dr Ignatius Chombo however notes the low turn outs. Stations will remain opened until 7pm.
1728: From Mudzi District. Results from 21 of the 33 polling centres have been received at the district command centre – Mudzi Resource and Cultural Centre.
1726: Voting has ended at all 47 polling stations in Uzumba Maramba Pfungwe's 17 political districts. Low turnouts characterised the process, with records of an average of 50 people, which provincial team member, Godfrey Chikono, attributed to villagers' preoccupation with gold panning activities. Collation of results, now acheduled to start, will be done at the Zanu-PF Mtawatawa district offices.
1722: Kuwadzana poling station, which is the command centre for the area have not yet voted to this time after the electorate complained that some districts' which were supposed to vote at the same station were missing. People are sitting, waiting for the next move as the presiding officer for the polling station said they are waiting for further instructions from headquarters.
1720: In Mutoko district, results for 25 out of 50 party districts have been received. According to District supervisor Esau Mupfumi, incumbent chairperson, Ray Kaukonde is sweeping all the votes in the polling stations received so far. Phillemon Mutongi did not get a single vote in the 25 districts, with 25 more districts to go. Mupfumi hailed the environment in which the polls are being conducted. "The exercise is flawless," he said.
1651: Voting has now started in Bikita West but some party supporters are protesting over their exclusion from the party register over their alleged link with Dr Kereke.
1644: Mashonaland East team leader Obert Mpofu says he is happy with the levels of maturity displayed by party members during the voting process.
1641: Results are now trickling in at Marondera provincial command centre from various polling stations.
1640: Mpofu says he is optimistic that the voting process will be completed at the remaining polling stations before 7pm.
1544: Voting is progressing well in Masvingo Urban after elections supervisory team led by Nicholas Goche moved swiftly to tackle the hitches experienced in the morning.
1520: Voting has not started at most polling stations in Umguza and Lupane and voters are still waiting for mobile polling officers. We visited a few polling stations in Umguza wards 8, 9 and 19 and dozens of people were patiently waiting as it is stated that one team started at Hlabathi in ward 19 while another started from ward 1 in Ntabazinduna. Only at Lupane centre voting seems to have been concluded at 1pm but now we are at ward 19 in the same district and a handful of people are still waiting patiently. Dr Sydney Sekeramai made a media briefing mid-morning and acknowledged some challenges like delays in starting and sending ballots but assured that everything was in order and that they expect to be done by 7pm tonight.
1508: Voting in most areas in Harare started late with some polling stations having no ballot papers as late as 11 a.m while casting of ballot papers was supposed to start at 7 a.m.
Mabelreign district chairman George Mashavave said most voters were ready to vote early in the morning but were disappointed by the administration delays.
In Chitungwiza, voting started at around 9 a.m while at other polling stations at 11 a.m.
However, at Unit L Community Hall in Chitungwiza were voters of ward 18 were casting their votes, voting came to a standstill at around12 noon when a misunderstanding arose between the candidates, polling officers and voters after candidates where demanded separate ballot boxes for two districts which were voting at the same polling station for the same candidates.
Voters started demonstrating against the initiative by candidates which resulted in Paul Mangwana who is in charge of the voting process in Chitungwiza to intervene.
1505: Politburo member and team leader for Chakari, Kadoma Central and Sanyati constituencies Sithembiso Nyoni has given members in the disputed districts of Kadoma Central ward 9,11 and 17 the right to vote as separate districts. The districts had earlier been combined as one.
1503: Mudzi District-Results from polling stations throughout the three constituencies Mudzi North, South and West have started trickling at District Command Centre-Mudzi Resource Centre. Richard Chirongwe who is supervising the polls in the district is hopeful that all the results would have arrived well ahead of closing time at 7 p.m
1458: Voting at Farmers' Hall in Masvingo Rural briefly came to a halt this afternoon after some polling agents protested that they were being excluded from the voting process. Voters resisted to cast their votes until the agents were allowed into the hall. Another group also remained at the gate refusing to vote until the list of voters was published.
1431: Chegutu West voting centres received voting materials late, most of the nine voting centers have not yet started voting but members are gathered outside the polling venues waiting to vote.
Kadoma Central ward 9 , 11 and 17 are voting as seperate districts despite the province saying all three are one district called Chaminuka. Politburo member Sithembiso Nyoni is currently in a meeting at Sanyati Rural District Council offices with members from the affected wards to clarify the issue.
1342: Esrom Tsura, the Presiding Officer in Mhangura says he is going back to Chinhoyi to get a new voters roll. He said the voting process is expected to end by 7 p.m. Police have have since restored order.
1335:Voting finished at Mukota C district in Mudzi North where Ray Kaukonde got 90 votes while Phillemon Mutongi managed 12. In Mudzi South at Mapombo district voting finished by 1 p.m and Kaukonde had a clean sweep taking all the 102 votes.
1311: Voting is still underway in Chingwena district at Chingwena Business Centre polling station in Mudzi West. 79 out of the 102 district members had already voted by 12:45 p.m.
1234: Voting is ongoing at Murewha Centre where two districts, Zihute and Magamba, are voting. Voting started around 9:30 a.m due to the delay in the arrival of ballots, according to Temba Mutize, the presiding officer. Counting of votes will begin at 7 p.m soon after the close of polling.

1148: Voters have stormed out of Rujeko Primary School polling station in Masvingo Urban protesting the decision to have them vote only for one candidate. they have declared no voting would take place until the matter is resolved.
1140: Voting in Masvingo Urban failed to start at the scheduled time of 7 a.m while voting at some centres like Rujeko Primary School voting started at 11 a.m. Five candidates are battling it out for the post of chairman and these include Cdes Callisto Gwanetsa, Gibson Mashingaidze, Bernard Mazarire, Robert Mukwenha and Ailess Baloyi.
1129: Voting has started at most polling stations in Harare despite the logistical problems in the morning. In Kuwadzana and Mbare voting started at 10:30 a.m. Harare provincial chairman, Ambassador Amos Midzi said there are 85 polling stations in Harare.
1124: Voting at Chitekwe Community Hall in Mutoko North took less than 20 minutes. The queue was moving fast because they were only voting for the chairperson's post. Ray Kaukonde made a clean sweep at Chitekwe Community Hall where he garnered all the 105 votes in Mawanga district beating Phillemon Mutongi.
1103: Kondwakuenda Magaya the presiding officer at Juru Council offices declares voting open, they are expecting 102 officials to vote for the Juru district.
1016: Distribution of election material and deployment of security personnel starts in Zaka District.
0953: In Mhangura, Makonde District, Mashonaland West voting has not yet started although voters, mainly women, are gathered at the different polling stations.
0936: Polling stations in Mbare, Highfield and Kuwadzana are still to open. The polling officers have cited logistical problems with the election material yet to be received.
0923: There are no ballot papers for two out of 18 party districts in Mutoko North. Mutoko District team leader Esau Mupfumi says they are consulting with the national leadership on the way forward.
0857: Election material disbursement has started in Mutoko's three constituencies in Mashonaland East.
0849: Dispatching of election material has now started in Gutu's five constituencies. Zanu-PF Politburo member, Lazarus Dokora, is supervising the deployment of the material. The election material is expected to be sent to constituency Command Centre before they are distributed to various polling stations. Voting is expected to start in an hour's time.
0844: Voting is yet to start at most polling stations in Masvingo Rural. At Zaka District Command Centre, the leadership is locked up in a meeting and no election material has been distributed to the polling stations.
0811: Voting has not started in all Gutu constituencies. Polling officials headed by Primary and Secondary Education Minister Lazarus Dokora are still converged at Gutu Rural District Council offices planning how to dispatch election material to all the five constituencies.
