A scored woman has been dragged before a Harare magistrate on charges of urinating on the plates of her ex-husband's new wife.
Matron Mhewembwa yesterday told the court her husband's ex-wife Primrose Makokoro urinated on her plates, which were in the sink, after a heated exchange.
Mhewembwa hauled Makokoro before the Harare Civil Court seeking a protection order against her.
She told magistrate Gamuchirai Siwardi that Makokoro scolds her regularly.
"The respondent (Makokoro) rebukes me all the time," complained Mhewembwa.
"She urinated on my plates in the sink and is threatening to defecate on them. She is my husband's ex-wife but we stay together.
"She calls me a prostitute and a witch and accuses me of knowing about the death of my mother-in-law."
Mhewembwa strenuously denied the allegations. She told the court Makokoro was fabricating allegations against her since they were not in good books.
"I only came out with my clothes which I intended to wash and poured water into a bucket that was in the sink and she started accusing me of urinating on her plates," argued Mhewembwa.
"She brags about snatching my husband and told me she was going to get rid of me. She is in a habit of fabricating issues against me."
Makokoro told the court Mhewembwa hires her friends to scold her and sprinkle juju in her room.
Magistrate Siwardi ordered the two to observe peace towards each other.
She also ordered Mhewembwa to stop abusing Makokoro.
