The First Lady Dr Grace Mugabe said because of corrupt tendencies and gross incompetence, Vice President Joice Mujuru was not fit to succeed President Mugabe.
Addressing thousands of war veterans and senior Government officials who gathered at her children's home in Mazowe yesterday to endorse her elevation to lead the Zanu-PF Women's League, Dr Mugabe said despite unbridled ambition, Dr Mujuru had risen beyond her capabilities and should now vacate the vice presidency.
"We know her capabilities and we know those who can reach President Mugabe's levels and she is not one of them.
"Saka ini zvangu maonero angu handina kuona vakakodzera kutomboitungamira nyika ino iyi. One, she survives on extortion and does not want to work for herself. Two, she wants to grab power from the President illegally. Three, all minerals you declare that they are yours and four, you are incompetent."
Dr Mugabe said the British and Americans had decided to destroy Zanu-PF by working with elements within the party like VP Mujuru.
"Vakaona kuti zinyekenyeke. She is someone without principles and they wanted to use someone from within the party.
"She was given money and some things to give people. That is why you saw that money was used during the Youth Conference. Have you ever seen the President doing that, coming down to the cell level to organise people, imposing people?"
Dr Mugabe said VP Mujuru was plotting against President Mugabe day and night and was using people like Zanu-PF Mashonaland East chairman Cde Ray Kaukonde to achieve her goal.
"Pane maagents avo avano user akaita sanaKaukonde, manje Kaukonde ndakamumaka big time," she said.
"Ndakataura inini zvedemon kuti rakatanga kuMashonaland Central saka iko kaye (Kaukonde) ndiko kane rimwe zidemon rakakatakura muchikaona kachimisa tsinga kudaro.
"Manje richabuda dhimoni iroro nokuti iye Kaukonde uya ndiye anoshandiswa panezvese. Kaukonde uya ndiye anenge achishandiswa achifonera varungu vanzwa nhamo. Hazvina kumbonaka izvozvo, it must stop forthwith.
"Iye Kaukonde uya ndiye anenge achishandiswa kuti enda unokumbira mari 10 percent kwakati vachipihwa, achipa vanhu mari, achibhadhara vanhu mari."
The First Lady revealed that Vice President Mujuru duped the ruler of Ras al Khaimah, Sheikh Saud Al Qasimi, of millions of dollars in a botched diamonds deal and engaged in other sordid deals for her personal benefit.
She said VP Mujuru engaged in many other illicit deals by abusing her office.
Apart from duping Sheikh Al Qasimi, VP Mujuru also holds shareholding in Africa Consolidated Resources, a company she wanted to use to plunder diamonds at Marange.
The First Lady made the revelations yesterday and promised to divulge more of VP Mujuru's corrupt deals in the near future.
"They formed a company called ACR for them to loot diamonds, gold and every mineral in Zimbabwe," she said. "Their efforts were rejected in 2006 when Government said diamonds belonged to Zimbabweans and not one family.
"Recently vakauya futi nemumwe murume aibva kumaEmirates (United Arab Emirates) akanyeberwa, ndakamunzwira tsitsi akanzi tine company yemadiamonds inonzi ACR, akanzi chitenga mashares imomo ndokupa ndofunga $10 million pamwe ndoiri kusplashwa kudai.
"Hatizivi kuti imarii kana yakawanda ndizvowo asi kunyebera munhu uchiziva kuti zvakanzi kwete madiamonds ndeenyika. Hunhu hwakaita sei ihwohwo?"
Dr Mugabe said the VP entered into the arrangements as a way of raising money to fund her ambitions to succeed President Mugabe.
"Izvozvo kunenge kuri kuzvipositioner ndikawana mari ndozosihandisa kuti ndiite topple Mugabe, kutenga vanhu nemari. Saka company iyoyo vakaita nharo vakaenda kumacourts vakamirira mira zvikaramba," she said.
VP Mujuru exchanged visits with Sheikh Al Qasimi last year and a number of memoranda of understanding in the areas of energy, mining and pharmaceuticals were signed.
But nothing has materialised from the visits.
Apart from that, Dr Mugabe said VP Mujuru owned 10 percent shareholding in Associated Newspapers of Zimbabwe, the publishers of the Daily News that has been at the forefront of attacking Dr Mugabe.
She said the newspaper was being used to tarnish her image.
"Did you know that she holds 10 percent shareholding in the Daily News? That is why you see the newspaper write negatively about Grace Mugabe everyday. Hameno kuti vakandionei, vanondiona se toilet yekuti kana akuda kuita zvinhu zvake anongomhanya ikoko kutoilet," Dr Mugabe said.
The First Lady said she had been quiet for too long, but had now decided to reveal the vice president's underhand dealings.
"Ndakanga ndisingambodi kuti nditaure zvinhu izvi papublic kudai, but the way she has treated me zvakonzeresa kuti ndisimuke nditi ndozvawakaita," she said. "Zvandiri kukutaurirai izvi slowly because your eardrums might burst if I tell you a lot now."
Dr Mugabe described VP Mujuru as an extortionist and dared her to publicly deny the allegations.
"Ngavauye apa vazvirambe tione. Ndozvinoitwa here nemunhu anoda kutungamirira nyika? That is extortion. You go and threaten people because of your position, blackmailing people uchiti ukasandipa chakati hausi kugara muZimbabwe," she said.
"Ivo varungu ava nyangwe kudai takavatorera land vane macompany avakatangawo vega nyangwe tine indegenisation inoitwa it is not only for the Mujuru family. Hakuna kwavasina mashares. I am telling you what I know. We do not want that and above all, you are undermining the authority of the Head of State uchironga zvinhu husiku kana wavaona masikati woti ndinokudai baba, uchivanyepera.
She must stop it!"
Dr Mugabe said rowdy youths in Mashonaland East had been paid $75 each last Friday to disrupt her Meet the People rally in Marondera.
VP Mujuru, the First Lady said, wanted to bribe her by donating $10 000 to Danhiko last month where the First Lady is the patron.
"Hanzi ndikuda kukutsvagirai mari ndikati handidi kupihwa mari," she said. "Ndinonokwereta mari kubank ini. Musi uno kuDanhiko kwakanyorwa zitsamba nDr vaya richindipraiser zvikanzi pamwe ndichatorwa moyo nezidzamba iroro.
"Mazuva ese andaienda kuDanhiko wanga usingazvinzwi? Ndobva manzi nga$10 000 muenvelop, kunditenga nemari kundibriber. Handibribwe nemumusnhu ini."
