A security guard was on Monday humiliated by a self confessed hooker for failing to pay for sex. The security guard, who works at a supermarket in Ardbennie, was spotted leaving the shop with some groceries.
This prompted the hooker to grab him by his collar while demanding her dues for the sex rendered some two days before.
"Munhu uyu akandishandisa mazuva maviri kumba kwangu. Haana kubhadhara saka nhasi ndinoda mari yangu pamwe negrocery iri rose," the hooker is heard saying in the two minute recording.
The security guard could not deny the allegations and asked for private talks with the hooker and they were seen leaving the place together.
Hookers have increased in the streets following the High Court ruling that it is unlawful to arrest women for prostitution when there is no man who lodged a complaint against them.
Hookers, especially those from the Avenues celebrated this development with some offering free services to their regular clients.
In an interview with H Metro one of the hookers operating at Kennedine Court along Central Avenue identified only as Kelechu, complained of losing business as the hookers compete for customers.
"It is better for police to return to the streets during the night because nevekubooster kuEpworth vaauyawo munzvimbo dzedu zvavakutishaisa mari.
"We are fighting at night over places for operating and this is forcing us to reduce the amounts we charge to as little as US$5 when we used to get US$10 for a quickie," said Kelechu.
