'Zanu-PF erred in chaotic land reform programme'

A social and political commentator Zexie Mashonga has posted on facebook condemning the land reform programme saying the biggest mistake that Zanu-PF did was to embark on a fast track land reform programme.

"People were made to believe kuti all is well, torai minda nezvese. But there is a legal angle that they are not telling," he said. "I remember the late Justice Sandura refusing a farm on legal grounds. He said and I quote " I can not be found benefiting from an illegal programme ".

Mashonga said Sandura meant a lot.

"All we could have done is to listen. Look now, how many potential cases are we facing locally . How about abroad ? Experts are estimating to about $10 billion," he said.
