Three Zanu-PF officials face the axe

The Zanu PF Mashonaland East provincial executive has recommended expulsion of three legislators and three former provincial members while other legislators and former provincial members will be investigated.
The members are being accused of working with the People First project.
The decision was announced at the provincial coordinating meeting held at the party offices inn Marondera.
The motion was moved by Godfrey Chikono and seconded by Beatrice Nyamupinga.
Those recommended for expulsion are legislators Tendai Makunde -Murewa North, Felix Mhona -Chikomba Central and Washington Musvaire -Maramba Pfungwe and former provincial members Boniface Mutize, George Katsande and Taurai Pasirayi.
Those to be investigated are Simbaneuta Mudarikwa -Uzumba, Phineas Chihota -Seke and Marble Kawindikiza -proportional representation, Sithembile Makamba and Joyce Chiroodza.
Provincial chairman Joel Biggie Matiza says the names have been forwarded to the relevant organs for final decision while a team to investigate the other ones will present its findings for final decision.
