Mthwakazi Republic Party (MRP) claims Zanu PF is aimed at destroying Mthwakazi people through the deployment of the Shona teachers under the controversial Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education are purely implementing the 1979 evil grand plan.
MRP secretary general Hloniphani Ncube said a number of atrocities have been committed ranging from child abuse, abuse of public funds amounting to five thousand (5000) United States dollars and chasing away of Ndebele speaking teachers at Tsheli High School to replace them with Shona teachers among other issues that would be mentioned on this press release.
"Tsheli High School is in Matebeleland North under Nkayi North District. The area is under Chief Madliwa. The school is headed by the school headmaster called Mauto Gutu from Masvingo province," he said.
He said he established that out of twenty two teachers, teaching at this school only four are of Ndebele origin, in a school located in communities of Ndebele origin and a number of qualified teachers of which their names are withheld due to issues of victimization.
"The Shona teachers have brought nothing in this area, but shame. It was reported to the party that a teacher identified as Kaurai of Shona origin impregnated a school child at Tsheli and nothing was done by the school head, the district and the provincial offices," he said. "As mentioned now, the issue was not reported and nothing has been done. Apart from that, another teacher identified as Tapesana was also sleeping with an upper six student who dropped her studies and moved to Bulawayo to seek for employment after her dreams have were tempered with by the teacher, because the teacher threatened."
Ncube said the party has proof of these matters, and this is the clear agenda of Zanu PF which is clearly mentioned in the 1979 grand plan. He said these are people whom Zanu PF is using to totally destroy the culture and the future of our children.
"Apart from that, it was reported to the Secretary general that the local councillor Bernard Nyathi was almost assaulted by Mauto Gutu the current headmaster at Tsheli High School for advising the school not to raise fees, because the parents could not afford what is being charged by the school now," Ncube said. "Moreover, it was reported that, Magavatela and Shumba the Shona teachers also attempted to assault the school SDC chairperson and the Treasurer for blocking the abuse of public funds, and the headmaster blocked the matter to be taken further citing that, these teachers exhibited this kind of behaviour because they were drunk."
Ncube said Dokora mentioned that, they were going to reduce the powers of SDC at schools because they realised that, they hinder their agenda to abuse public funds at schools particularly in Mthwakazi.
MRP has established from this case study, that Zanu PF wants to destroy the future of Mthwakazi popularly known as Matebeleland regions in this current generation.
"They are using all avenues to totally dominate our societies. As a party we are prepared to do all within our best to save our people. We will not allow this to continue. We send a strong warning to Dokora to address these issues on time before schools open, failure to do that the party would act to solve these problems in support of our community wishes," Ncube said.
"The above mentioned concrete issues are the reasons behind advocating for the independence of Mthwakazi which is still haunted by the Zimbabwean hegemony. As a party we are prepared and we have strategies and mechanisms to totally free our people. We gave Dokora a warning about non-Ndebele speaking teachers in our region and the so-called national pledge, and he did not listen and we as a party we edge parents not to send their children on the opening day to worship the failed Mugabe. When sending a child, send that child at your own risk."
