Dynamos striker Cuthbert Malajila was yesterday DEEPLY embroiled in a Runyoka mix-up. This is after scores of people who claimed to have witnessed the phenomenon of the couple stuck in sex in Mbare could SWEAR that HE was the man with the joy rod stuck in the woman.
"It was not my joystick," however, is the call from the striker, who claims that while he may be on target and sink a lot of goals, he has no habit of playing target practice on married women!
Yesterday, the Dembare hitman officially dismissed reports circulating on social networks that he was the man who got stuck to a woman in Mbare in a suspected case of 'Runyoka'.
"I actually don't know what that is about. It's something that I'm now used to that people always try to connect my name with such negative issues. I think those are just my detractors. You personally know that I was with my team at the time you are referring to," charged Malajila.
H-Metro confirms that the Mbare incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon when the Dynamos striker was actually with his team mates in Glen-View making a donation at Isheanesu Home for the Disabled. There was no way he could have disabled a central locking system a few distant miles away in Mbare on the same day and at the same time.
Malajila said, "I actually received a call from a friend in UK who asked me why I had been arrested. I didn't know what he was talking about. I had not yet read about that story so I think it is related to that. The last time there was a story that I had been involved in an accident. There was no grain of truth in that and I wonder why people create such false stories all the time".
On the Dynamos facebook page, the following posts were made:
"Addy Dutsa Chikowore: Can someone please confirm the story about Malajila doing rounds in Harare and Gweru. Handisi kuzivaka vanhu varikungoti is it true zvatanzwa about Malajila vamwe voti siya zvakadaro vamwe voti abatwa saka ndabvunza.
George Chibanda: manyepo ayo. ndi taxi driver abatwa nerunyoka i think vanhu vakavafananidza"
