Sex worker who glassed rank marshal weeps in court, blames evil spirits

A Mvurwi sex vendor Josphine Gweshe (24) wept bitterly at Guruve magistrate court today (Monday) before she was slapped with US$200 fine by Guruve magistrate Feresi Chakanyuka.
It was the state's case that Gweshe used a bottle to cut the lips of a rank marshal Pasiinhamo Chikoti (34) in Dendere night club Mvurwi around 00:00hours.
He got a permanent injury as he was stitched several times on his mouth.
The hooker wept for a few minutes before admitting to the assault charge which she said was perpetrated by evil spirits.
Apparently Gweshe's relatives and friends failed to raise the fine and she has since gone behind bars pending payment.
Chikoti was dropping charges saying Gweshe is his niece but his plea but his plea came a bit late.
However, it also emerged that Chikoti was bribed with a plasma television set to withdraw charges
