Thabo Kunene will be remembered for his bravery

MLO President cde Paul Siwela and the Supreme Council was shocked to learn of the passing on of one of the prolific, brave and most respected Matabele journalist, Thabo Kunene.

We send our deepest condolences to the Kunene family. This loss is not theirs only but for all the people of Matabeleland as Thabo served Matabele nation with pride and was not confused as to who he was and where he came from.

Thabo Kunene will be remembered for his bravery. He went where others feared to tread. He covered without fear or favour all explosive Matabeleland issues like Matabeleland genocide, Matabeleland restoration and marginalisation.

May his dear soul rest in internal peace. He has left a vacuum that would be hard to fill. Where names of Matabeleland heroes and giants will be mentioned Thabo Kunene's name will be remembered.
