Mnangagwa stop lying there is no democracy in Zimbabwe

Revolutionary greetings comrades. The elections are around the corner, yet the atmospere is as quiet as if the elections are not anywhere close. Does this mean that the electorate now cares less about the outcome or it has reached political maturity to the extent of quietly waiting for the day to secretly vote? Worse still, there is very limited campaign activities on the ground giving a pseudo picture of a country that is at peace with its status quo. Where is Zimbabwe headed to? Are we headed to an abyss, armageddon or total emancipation?
Democracy in Zimbabwe died a painful death in 1980 with the accession of Robert Gabriel Mugabe to power. Mnangagwa's illegal elevation to the helm of Zimbabwean politics, liquidated the rule of law and further confirmed the continuation of the reign of terror. Reign of terror is what Zimbabweans are familiar with. This has made terror a greater part of Zimbabwean politics which even some opposition parties have embraced and are finding it difficulty to divorce. One wonders how contagious is the politics of violence? From the look of things, it is more like political leprosy; who so ever dines with the leprotic, contacts the disease. Or perhaps its like influenza; all those residing within a given radius of the epicentre of violence- Zanu PF, inhale the diseased miasma, and thus contact it. Zimbabwe truly needs political cleansing. It is the duty of every citizen (including the bacterial characters) to fumigate our political space and rid it of undisirable elements.
We can not however, stop politics whilst waiting for the fumigation process. Let the political drama unfold as we approach an election that is going to be managed by the junta. If the junta grabbed power for the love of power, what guarantee is there that if they lose elections, they will easily give up power that they sweated blood for? One does not need to be a sharp politics scholar to analyse junta's moves. To believe that the junta will accept negative election results and give way for peaceful transition, is ludicrous stupidity. Our complacency on this issue will surely elongate the misrule of the junta. Historians of both the new and old schools of thought believe that history repeats itself. If truly it does, then the people making history must be blamed for the recurrance of bad events. If the 2018 elections are a repetition of 2008, then as Zimbabweans, we would be pathetic failures. The probability of 2018 being a repetition of 2008 is way above 0.5, and that makes it highly probable. In risk management, any risk which is above 0.5 must be taken seriously and effective measures must be put in place to prevent the risk. Perhaps this must be a national Question as we approach the elections; What must we do as Zimbabweans if 2018 becomes a repetition of 2008???
